I went for a jog last night in the chilly air and now im wheezing pretty bad. I had mild asthma as a kid but always just dealth with it. Is this something my lungs will adapt to as I keep running in the cold?

Think it’s pretty common. Try running with a neck gaiter covering your nose and mouth. Helps warm the air and prevents coughing/wheezing.

Just my history - asthma until about 12 - running in extreme heat or cold and my lungs just can't hack it, there is wheezing. I hit the inhaler before each run and it makes a world of difference. I consider it a performance enhancer.

It’s normal. I’ve always experienced this after running in cold weather.

Don’t stress

Exercise induced rhinitis could be it. If you are excessive mouth breathing while running it can irritate the throat and then your body thinks it’s having allergies so it creates its own post nasal drip situation and the coughing comes on
