… assuming he throws it on target to your chest.

I’m sure we have a bunch of elite athletes up in this bitch, so I’m expecting most of you lying losers to say “of course”

Dude has a canon

That is a great answer

Assuming he did throw it on target , I’d say anything 15 yards or less I probably couldn’t catch

Can you imagine how hard he could throw a baseball if he were a pitcher?

Or put him in the outfield and watch make throws to the catcher from the warning track.

I do find it interesting how often elite athletes in one sport are so horrible at another sport

This. Dude could throw it a mile but miss by a mile.

Most frustrating player to watch in recent Vols history.

It's like the well-known anecdote from years ago that I think was about Dan Pastorini.. Someone commented his arm was strong enough to throw a football up to the 7th floor of a hotel. His coach said "yeah, but his receivers were on the 4th floor"...

Anyone, and that includes active NFL receivers, who say they would catch it 100% of the time are full of shite. I would say someone who has a history of catching footballs in highschool or better could catch one or two of ten with their hands, pushing up three or four if you let them warm up. Someone who doesn’t have that history would find catching it with their hands nearly impossible in a single sitting (by time they got the hang of it, their hands would basically be non-functional with pain), but if they were willing to handle the pain and legitimate risk of medical complications, they could probably get one or two out of twenty with their chest.

I always said that Joe could throw it to the moon, but would hit Mars instead.
