Every player and every coach associated with it should have a stain on their career that follows them. Being on this offensive line staff or being a player on it should be like having been an executive for Enron. Brad Davis and his players were truly the most embarrassing group LSU has ever shite out

Man, we all went without negativity since Kiffin hire, we are back to our true selves as fans. Everything sucks, everyone is to blame, everyone should be fired.

Anything positive out there is the LSU world?

OL is the hardest group to develop. You’re only as good as your weakest link, plus need depth. Gonna take more than one season to turn that around. Temper expectations for next year

We were a Championship quality team, except with awful OL and awful QB play. QBs can’t succeed when they have pressure before the WRs even make their break.

NFL example: after being a recorded setting star, Justin Jefferson is now averaging 20 yards a game because of his QB play.

You know, a lot of things can go into making an O Line look bad:

Running backs:
Missing the gap
Bad timing
Misreading blocks
Missing in their pass protection responsibility

Quarterbacks:
Not understanding protections
Going the wrong direction
Leaving the pocket too soon
Holding the ball too long
Not seeing g open receivers
Not using check downs

Receivers:
Running wrong routes
Lollygagging
Not running to open space for QB
Not understanding to break off routes when big cushion is given

A lot gets blamed on the O Line that could be someone else's mistake. It's a team game.

All good points which contributed to the overall results. However, these issues are on top of the performance we watched in 2025. This line got abused numerous times throughout the season. Can’t count the number of times I witnessed OL players on their butts at the end of a play. They did not control the line of scrimmage and were frequently pushed backwards. It was one of the worst performances I’ve seen in a very long time.

I can agree with you there.

And that is all understandable. The problem is when you actually watch the games. These guys are just fricking standing around half the time. They get pushed back, they get knocked on their arse, and on the screen plays almost every single one of them is standing around doing absolutely nothing. Even if you screw up, that’s fine, but screw up and hit somebody.
