For some reason I have an urge to try a Reddington Butterstick. Anybody have a glass rod that they like? Anybody want to weigh in on how different it feels from a modern rod?

I have a NFC Iconoglass in a 5wt. I wouldn’t call it a traditional glass rod but it’s fiberglass. I like it but it’s still fast for fiberglass. I don’t have the skill to cast a slow rod, old school rod.

Glass is going to feel much slower than modern rods.

I’ve got a 3wt Orvis superfine glass that’s a ton of fun for small bass and bream

I’ve got the butter stick in 3 wt. fun for bream. You need to get it.

This was the idea. If you don't mind, where do you use it? I don't need your secrets, just what kinds of waters and general areas? I was thinking this is for applications far more upstream (I'm near the gulf) and mountains, etc... but I'm picking this up as I go.
