Quite a few people on Twitter are accusing them of intentionally trying to lose

Not at all

Guy in motion sees the edge guy coming and for a split second thinks he needs to block him. Immediately realizes he doesn’t but the collision happens because of it.

wasn’t just that play, there were many other blunders all game long that seemed uncharacteristic

Sounds like the downstream effects of sports gambling legalization and horizontal integration with media companies and sports league are on full display here

Poorly timed snap there caused the timing of the play to be off

DE ran up field, the TE went to wall him off and ran into the path of the RB, not really that suspicious and just typical college football stuff. QB probably needed to hold the snap for another half second to ensure the TE has enough time to get across the line for the block or the RB needed to be a yard or two further back to properly time the block. The way they draw that up I bet the TE is whamming that DE at the line of scrimmage rather than tailing out upfield

Ohio has won 40 games in 4 years, plays damn good defense, and has both beaten and frightened several decent P4 teams in recent years.

The mountain west, in turn, had its weakest year as a football conference in a very long time. Unlv was talented but inconsistent all year.

These ignorant sports app bettors are just a bunch of whiny dunces who desperately need to blame everyone else for their poor decisions.

they also fired their coach 11 days ago for banging his assistant while getting wasted in his office and trotted an interim out there with 10 days notice

I actually had a feeling Ohio would win because it was set up perfectly for a Dan Mullen special

I didn’t know much about Ohio besides the thing with their coach but was impressed with their lines on offense and defense and their qb was pretty tough and smart

I didn’t watch the game but that play isn’t fishy, the timing was just off. That being said, these bowl games perfect for fishy stuff to happen. Anyone who bets money on them, which I’m sure all those Twitter comments did, is a fool.

The running back took the wrong gap, he was suppose to follow the pulling guard or cut inside him.
