Weiss is a center-left manager who seems to be encouraging straight coverage rather than spin at CBS news. Her approach is anathema to the leftist propagandists infesting CBS newsrooms. Her task there has been described as akin to corralling rattlers in the middle of their snakepit.
In this instance, it appears she elected to clip what was an extremely one-sided presentation which even encorporated a group of Berkeley students as supposed experts for goodness sakes. Let that last bit sink in for just a minute.

They were sent to El Salvador because Venezuela wouldn’t take them back. Now they have so they are all home. So a happy ending after all.
And let’s not forget that most or all of these guys are Venezuelan criminal gang members. Is it a messy process getting these people out of our country? Yes. But blame the people who intentionally created this mess. Not the guy left to clean it up.
