2026 schedule question

Am I correct that the Saints will play teams from the NFC West, East, and AFC West who finish in the same spot in their divisions?
So if Saints finish fourth, they play Oakland, NYG, and Arizona.
But if they pass Atlanta, they will play KC, Wash, and San Fran.

The NFC West third place is still in doubt. If SF wins tonight, they move to second and drop the Rams to third because of a better division record. And there is still a possibility even Seattle could finish third.
But, yes, you’re correct with the rest of it, although the Raiders are now in Vegas. But I knew which team you meant.

Yup we need to finish 4th as its probably two extra games were favoured to win

While unlikely... I think 2nd place is still in play for us
The Saints winning out, the Falcons beating Rams before losing to us, and the Bucs losing out (@ MIA, vs. CAR) puts us all at 7-10
And as noted the Saints will have the best in-division record of the group
I don't think Atlanta beats the Rams nor do I think TB loses to Miami this week which would make this post moot... but still... technically...
