With Lane at the helm and his Southern California ties is there a chance we could go after Jahkeem Stewart at USC? Guy is an absolute beast and if we were to spend NIL money I would rank it at:
1.) QB
2.) Jahkeem Stewart

He just “resigned” with USC. They put out a tweet yesterday celebrating it.

Based on his play this season at USC we were correct in not overspending.

Correct. Production isn’t worth what USC is paying. I don’t see LSU overspending for ANY HS recruits going forward. It doesn’t make any sense to do so with the Portal

He had a strong year for a true freshman. Got better as the year went on. I was one of his biggest critics but the kid showed me something this season. 2 mil worth? No, but that doesnt mean the kid cant play.

And Cali taxes took a significant portion of this. Why people would chose to live in California is beyond me. Nothing is affordable. Puka Nacua was just complaining about this.

Ha! I saw that. He said he rents an apartment because he can’t afford a house. 1.2mill turns into 400k with the Cali taxes and Agent fees. Wild! Even wilder he was a 5th round pick after watching him last night. Was the best player on the field, that was a fun game!

Resigned = quit or stepped down
Re-signed = signed again
Sorry, not trying to be an arse but you had me googling why Stewart quit at USC, and wondering why he didn’t just enter the portal

So Dallas, Houston, Tennessee, Miami, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville should be the prime landing spots for free agents due to no state tax.
