Was tonight's speech part of an elaborate plan?

To scare the piss out of Maduro?

The US scrambles fighter jets and Trump hastily schedules a prime time address to the nation at the same time.

It had to be mildly concerning in VZ.

There was like 3 military assets on radar during the speech near Venezuela in the air. Granted if we were striking you wouldnt see any.

Possible. Also lets us see any anti air assets possibly. Not sure that was the intent but maybe when they originally planned the speech they realized a good opportunity to scare tactic VEN to glean info.

They had just lifted off the runway in the USA. They wouldn’t be there yet at the time of his speech. But Venezuela would have seen them on radar en route.

This is bs. If this guy is in " the know ", don't you think Network Pentagon Correspondents are too. Networks would be killing themselves to get this on the air.

I don’t think you understand how our military air assets work. They would not see us coming as we have stealth, jammers, and ships that prevent that.

Are there VZ nationals or assets in the US monitoring our air bases?

Again, could be a test to see if there is one and which base they’re watching.

We have hundreds of training flights a day across the country training at military bases. Aircraft fly everyday, they train for war and qualifications.

That’s plausible IMO. It was a mere fake-out to get coverage and for Maduro to be dying to see what’s about to come down the pipe.

Overall a solid message and he touched on several key points.

I feel like Israel did this to see where Irans antiaircraft weapons where and how they would be activated. They also did this and found out a bunch of Iran military brass went to a specific building, letting Israel exploit that to bomb them and kill all their high value military leaders
