Will either put in at the pointe marina or Rigolets marina.
1. Anyone have any reports on where the specks are biting?
2. Live bait? Artificial? On the bottom or under a cork?
3. It’s going to be a parking lot, isn’t it?

Can’t help but I’ve always wanted to fish the bridge and tressels. Never could line up a trip with a buddy before he died.

There at the bridges

Bottom no cork. If you have not jigged the bridges, use live bait on a drop shot.

3. It’s going to be a parking lot, isn’t it?

If the weather is good, probably.

I’ve not jigged the bridges, but I’ve fished saltwater for years. What’s the trick?

The trout bite can be finicky and very particular about the presentation. Often the bite is very subtle like they will just pick the lure up. Shouldn’t be a problem for an experienced angler but I wouldn’t recommend for a novice.

If the temps drop into the low 50s then the bridges turn off. Look for deeper holes and dead end canals at that point. Some will move back on the bridges with warming trends. No need for live bait this time of year. Most boats stack up on both bridges just south of the draw bridge. You can usually find spots to break away in the lake

Earplugs are a must if you're going to fish under the Twin Span or Causeway.

Fishing is just a hobby for me although my wife may describe it differently. Lake P is in my backyard and the first place I’ll fish when the big fish show up and the weather cooperates.

Shutout on trout. 1 sheepshead, 1 flounder.
Fished between railroad and highway 11 bridges. Fished between I10 and old I10.
Fished a little near Rigolets marina.
Artificial.
Green jeans was at Rigolets marina doing surveys. He said not many people caught fish today.
Beautiful day on the water, though.
