Domain and Website Hosting/Builder

Is there a better site to buy a domain through or does it even matter? I understand I can just direct it to wherever the actual webpage is hosted.
Also looking for the best site for building a site on our own (not ecommerce, just corporate brand presence and portfolio)

If you will only be managing one or a few domains, I'd just pick the cheapest registrar. More than a handful and I'd say the management tools start to matter more. And if you are getting something other than a generic TLD your choice of registrar may become limited.
I guess most hosts these days offer "site builder" features, and a lot also offer domain registry too. One domain, simple site with nothing fancy, I'd pick the cheapest all-in-one host/registrar with site builder like wix/squarespace/bluehost/whatever.
I can't comment on or compare the site builder tools.

I use namecheap but some of the site builders will give you a free domain if you sign up. Wix is the best but cost the most as far as web development.

I usually find which provider has best hosting plan, they usually include free domain when buying service. Ive used hostagtor, godaddy, blue ally, and currently have a hosting platform on hostinger
