Article 1, Section 5 of the Constitution of the United States provides (emphasis added):
As you may know, there are 21 States (all Democrat run) that are REFUSING to provide their voter rolls to the DOJ for verification no non-citizens are on there.
The Congressional GOP (Thune and Johnson) could put those states on notice that if they do not provide that information to the DOJ, anyone they elect to the House or Senate will not be seated for the next Congress. Give them a deadline of no later than 6 months prior to the primary election in their states.
Completely constitutional.
But would they ever do it?
quote:
Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business; but a smaller Number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the Attendance of absent Members, in such Manner, and under such Penalties as each House may provide.

I don't think so, but you know who absolutely would do it?
The Marxist Dems if they had control.

This question as been asked and answered probably over a 1000 times. Every single time the answer is "no".

It is time for everyone to contact their Congressional reps. Do it now!!

Here is the main issue with the GOP, they don’t like Trump and they don’t support his policies. They justify their inaction by pointing to mid term elections which almost always go against the incumbent so the block him at every turn. We can argue about his policies but the GOP is dead as a national party they just don’t care or realize it. It will become very evident if they nominate someone not named JD Vance or Ron Desantis but the GOP always uses their victories as a time to “come together” while Democrats always uses their victories their victories as “mandates”

Only if by “it” you mean a strongly worded letter.

In this case, and strongly worded letter would be enough (presuming they held the line on 1/4/27)
