12/21/2012

A date which will not live in infamy. Because no one will be around to remember it.

Well it's the last day. The world will end sometime during that day.

That quite possibly has to be the trailer that made me not want to see the movie in question the most.

how many times does nostradamus have to be wrong before we quit believing his theories or predictions.

Are you kidding me, Nostradamus has been right more than he was wrong..........he sometimes gave generalized predications but the man knew his shite.........

I bet he was a hell of a poker player.

Anyway, the 2012 thing deals with the Mayan calendar, not Nostradamus.

Volumes of writing aside, you do realize there has been not a single case where people warned/expected something to happen because of Nostradamus.

They only refer to such and such vague lines AFTER the prediction has come to pass.

And I wish people would stop saying that the Mayans said the world would end on that day.

Actually there have been many people that predict 2012 as the end of the world. It's not just the Mayans. It's them, Nostradamus, the ancient Chinese, and many other dead people. I saw it on TV.

That's what's so creepy about it.

I didn't say the Mayans predicted the end of the world, I was just saying that the year 2012 being notable is from the Mayan calendar. I think it just seemed to be a suitable date for their calendar to end since it was the end of one "long cycle (or whatever)" and the beginning of the next. For them, 2012 was so far into the future they didn't feel the need to go any further yet.

bullshite, yall all need to do your homework.....

And of course they use hindsight in regards to Nostro's predictions SO?

Lastly, on 12/21/2012 the earth will be in the same spot of rotation that it was when it first started spinning 26000 years ago so before yall all spew off about the 2012 thing the Mayans are just a small part of the puzzle.

Then it must be true!

Seriously dude, that date is significant in that a lot of celestial bodies align. That's all.
