Could a European style system fix college football?

Like have 2 transfer portal windows. A system cap with 100 million plus ? College would have to pay anthor college 40 million for 1 player? Also college schools could set up academys where they would have rights over certain players. Like Colorado would have had to pay Georgia 20-40 million for a Jalen Curtis? Like let’s say LSU has an academy player Alabama wants. LSU tells Alabama hand over 20 million.
also we add relegation make different leagues also change the play off into a champions league format. Keep the sec championship or turn it into a regular season deal like a top 4 tournament
I don’t get why everyone would hate this idea ?

Yes it would work but the powerful will never vote for a system that could make them vulnerable.

I do think a salary cap is needed. Transfer fees would be nice....would make high school recruiting important again

Correct. There’s no way that LSU is gonna vote for a new system, that could send them down a league if they have two bad seasons.

There is nothing Europe does in pretty much anything that we need to emulate other than banning all the fake shite we allow food companies to put their products.
