You’re actually wrong. Freshmen weren’t living on campus at the time. Just people in Nicholson Gateway with 12 month leases.
And the guns weren’t his. They were the kids that were staying in his dorm. Doesn’t make it right at all. That’s not what I’m trying to say.
I’m sure Kiffin will be deciding if he’ll be worth to keep. We are down to 2 RBs and I’m not sure on the transfer portal.

I didn’t realize this post was going to get toxic. You can say he’s a man but do you not believe in second chances. He guarantee he stays now and surprises your arse in a few years.
Ask any one connected to ASH and they will say the same thing we are both saying. Ask any high school reporters in Louisiana and they will say the same thing. There is no reason to get toxic about this. We are talking about a 19 year old kid who made a mistake. He will come out of this as everyone is behind him in our community. You have no idea on the background of his case. And shouldn’t be commenting if you don’t have any knowledge about it. I can’t imagine being a grown arse adult bashing a young college athlete.

Exactly. These people bash him every chance they get because of one mistake. He’s genuinely a good kid to talk to and was very polite kid from my impressions after meeting him and his mom. Whether he transfers or stay, CENLA locals will support him wherever he goes. I don’t care what the rest of the state says. I guess people don’t believe in second chances nowadays.
Two RBs on the roster is the official count, not including Lindsey (per my other post). But I’m still betting big. He’ll see a ton of playtime next year.

I know, I swear there are very few of us on here.
100%. Ultimately, it was his personal decision to let those kids stay in his dorm (who killed a boy who went to his HS) and he has to own that. However, this kind of behavior simply doesn't align with the way he was raised, which makes the situation even more disappointing. If you ever met his mother, you would think he’s a good kid.
Yea he isn’t going that far. He is going to take the place that gives the most money.

Probably standard recruit gifts. It’s unfortunate that they lost yesterday. At least a better game from last year against Central. I watched ASH, my alma mater, get obliterated by Karr and then Ruston by Central.

I’ll say this. I’ve talked to him a bunch times as I’m close to Coach Bachman at ASH before his time. He’s a great kid in school and around our community. But he still has that side of him with the thug life style and I thought he would get rid of it after being arrested but I can’t really say that now. I want him to be successful obviously as an alumni of the high school and for our city.
If he wasn't a total dumbass, Lindsey would've been on the field playing for LSU for a few plays after watching him having an insane season last year at Alexandria.

Can we please redo the bathrooms? I know we have 100K+ drunk fans, but we can do better than this.
Most people in Alexandria were already aware of this and were just waiting for him to enter the transfer portal. I’m very familiar with what happened back in August. He clearly made poor decisions, and I’m not defending his actions. It’s possible he could face jail time. Based on what I’ve found, his next court date for a Bond Review is scheduled for February 9th at the East Baton Rouge Parish Courthouse.

From a strictly technical standpoint, I think he’s the better player at basketball. If you watched him during his first two seasons, the talent level was off the charts. Can’t wait for to see him play this year.

Wanted to drop a note on what I’m hearing regarding JT Lindsey.
Hearing from multiple sources, including former classmates from his high school in Alexandria, but the real kicker is the receipts coming from his private IG story earlier this week. The writing is on the wall obviously. I will say he is a good kid and was raised well, but was hanging out with the wrong people at the time.
The Cal Bears staff recruited him hard before his commitment, so the relationship is already there. Expecting this to cross the finish line soon.
