Isn’t Chris Kiffin the obvious fallback DL coach option?

Assuming Robinson falls through, Kiffin is already here and has 11 years in CFB and the NFL as a DL coach.

He’s been an analyst recently so maybe he doesn’t want to be an on field coach right now, but this seems pretty obvious when discussing non-Robinson named.

Coaching history per Wikipedia:

Idaho (2005–2006) - Assistant
Ole Miss (2007) - Graduate assistant
Nebraska (2008–2009) - Defensive quality control assistant
USC (2010) - Defensive administrative assistant
Arkansas State (2011) - Defensive line coach
Ole Miss (2012–2016) - Defensive line coach & defensive recruiting coordinator
Florida Atlantic (2017) - Defensive coordinator & linebackers coach
San Francisco 49ers (2018–2019) - Pass rush specialist coach
Cleveland Browns (2020–2022) - Defensive line coach
Houston Texans (2023) - Linebackers coach
Ole Miss (2024–present) - Defensive analyst

I had no idea he was DL coach for the Browns and at Ole Miss before Lane got there.

I actually really like his resume. Not worried about wherever we end up placing Chris.

Still I would be surprised if we didn’t pivot to Jamar Cain or Henderson if Robinson decides to not hop on tTrain

Chris Kiffin was the coach that infamously let Laremy Tunsil sleep on his couch when we got hammered by the NCAA under Freeze. Crazy how much the sport has changed since those days.

I truly miss the days where that was a scandal

Ole Miss football reminded me of LSU basketball. Every time we got top recruits and were turning the corner the blue bloods turned us in

When is Robinson supposed to be making a decision? I figured he’d have made one by now. He’s taking forever to decide it seems.
