Mingo you in?
Doing a turn and burn mens solo / wife doing womens solo.
I have to be in Dallas Saturday morning so no doubles for us. Did not have this on my radar at all, but excited to see what I can do.

Just did a Hyrox search to see if anything popped up on here.
My wife competed in Dallas and is doing Houston too. I did my first class last week. Good stuff. A lot of fun.
She's done numerous CrossFit competition and could legit compete in it if her genes were a little better. She's just naturally too little to go as fast on RX. She kills it with any endurance, body weight, or non high rep RX but when you get to high rep RX it's hard for her to keep up with the top dogs. So Hyrox is kind of perfect for her.
Would like to get to the point of doing doubles but my running is too weak right now since I usually just do regular gym trips, not much high intensity. Don't want to drag my wife down

I don’t even know what you’re trying to say with this

I did. Plan on going to them regularly but i was out of town this past Sunday and will be gone this coming up Sunday too. Hopefully in January it will start to be a regular thing for me.

Nice Ill hop back on the train soon. I am tentative for Houston but will be a last minute sign up, assuming they release tickets in waves like they did for Dallas.

I mean she's just naturally small and can only do so much compared to the elite crossfit athletes. She works out 4-5 times a week for years now, has a good diet but can only ever get to about 117 pounds (would probably be closer to 100 if she didn't work out). When she did crossfit competitions she would be as good or better than anybody in the competition with body weight stuff. Was the fastest swimmer by far in the last competition, can do probably 7-10 muscle ups in a row without breaking, fast peg board climbs, great with high rep wall balls, fast runner and can run for days. Just good at a lot of things. But when it comes to like competition RX weight overhead lifting and a few others, she falls behind. That's why I say Hyrox is better suited for her because there aren't really workout that require heavy lifting.

I’m not trying to bust your balls, but this isn’t really impressive. Glad your wife is in shape though

Might be more, I stop counting. but it's better than 99.9% of the population, so fairly impressive
