It's Shough. It was always him. Give him an OL and good receivers and he'll take over this league.

Then what? He'd have had less time to adjust to pro game, would have gotten beaten up, but we'd still have a better record and a worse pick

I wouldn’t go all in on that. He is definitely head and shoulders above Rattler. I wish we had the money to get him a better o-line and some weapons at WR. We’re having to trot Taysom Hill out there

Good enough is not good enough. This team is still a couple years away from being good. I think not far away from being competitive is more accurate

Who is to say he’d be the same player? This isn’t a vacuum.

go look at his college film, he's making the same throws and plays he did in college.

But this isn’t college. I think it’s foolish to think that he’d have the same success if not afforded the time to actually get up to speed on the pro game. To think that this is some lost season because Shough didn’t start day one is insane. He’s right where he needs to be and that’s all we can ask for.

That's not what I mean.

and certainly, teams eval players from their college tape.

I think TS should have started the season with the starters and healthy oline.

The way he calls the protection, something SR did not do, maybe would have prevented some of these injuries.

I've barely watched these last few weeks, so can't judge too much, but he does appear to be playing well enough that you're not forced to use a high round pick on a qb in a draft lacking QBs.

hope I was very wrong on shough and he is the guy because that greatly expedites our rebuild time

I tend to agree with this.

I don’t think Shuck plays like he is currently if he starts the season.

Remember the trade for Jaylan Polk & picking up Trey Palmer who or both on IR. If they can help somewhat and Bub can stay healthy. Maybe we don’t need that many WR’s this offseason.

I mean. maybe. We might also have Ryan Tannehill.

You know Shough is showing some real promise though when you are 3-10 and feeling good.
