ND over Miami makes zero sense

1 thru 4 is fair. Nothing else makes sense. Let the melts begin. Haha!

if the committee goes this route, Miami will the 8-seed.
It's either going to be
8. ND
9. Bama
10. Miami
OR
8. Miami
9. ND
10. Bama

2 teams ranked in the 20s before this weekend now possibly being in the playoffs of supposedly the top 12 teams is a joke.
Conferences having to use multiple tie breakers due to so little crossover of opponents within the same conference is a joke.
Super conferences at best show the top 4 teams in the conference at the end of the regular season (and maybe hard to narrow down to 4).
With the current super conferences they should have top 4 teams of the big 4 (all using the same tie breaker rules) play 2 rounds for their conference championships, and then have the eventual champions advance to the semifinals.
The only issue for people to decide would be the seeding of the 4 champions in the semifinals. Maybe also have a rule that all out of conference play has to be teams from the other big 4 conferences which would help with seeding and would be essentially setting up their own league.

Yes. Once they announce the 9 seed, we should already know who the 10 seed is
