Ohio State coming into the Playoffs with a loss last night makes them more dangerous.

Ohio State was on a 16 game win streak and were bound to lose one sooner or later.
Last night they got that loss out of the way thanks to Indiana playing the game of their lives against an Ohio State team still on a Michigan hangover.
It took numerous bonehead play calls by OC Brian Hartline in the Red Zone, and a botched short FG, for Indiana to squeak out a 3 point win.
Just like last year's Michigan loss, this is just going to piss them off.

Not to mention Indiana needed a lot of home cooking

tOSU has Ryan Day as a coach. That negates any sort of advantage that you’re hallucinating they have after their loss to a superior coach and team last night

Ryan Day has the highest winning % in College Football History.
Ohio State is the reigning National Champions.
Ryan Day is 3-0 vs Top 10 SEC teams in the last 12 months.

Yeah, Ohio State doesn't stand a chance with that guy

Thinking Ryan Day is some kind of liability as HC indicates you may have a supremely low I.Q.

Or perhaps you don’t just follow the sport closely.

Or likely you’re a southern parochial living in some SEC bubble.

Have you seen how he’s assembled a top program post Urban Meyer? Did you see the playoffs last year?

Does he win every game, no. But almost. He’s also rolled the SEC in last 3 head to heads.

Is he a bum for losing occasionally? Not quite.

I’m sorry that doesn’t conform to your reductive, clickbait narrative. But do some digging. The truth lies in the nuance.

I love when fans think "we needed this loss". Sorry, nope

Why shouldn’t they think that way?

The Michigan loss galvanized them last year and they won a national championship.

Because you aren't going to win every game forever no matter how good you are.
They got that eventual/inevitable loss out of the way last night.
They came in flat from the Michigan game.
This was a nice wake up call that they aren't invincible and they better bring their A game if they want to win it all.

Not that complicated

Raoul you can just say:

“I’m a huge cuck and I don’t care that Day is a spoiled brat that has been handed every advantage (through no effort of his own) routinely loses to actual good coaches.”

Could’ve saved you some time.

Harbaugh is a good coach. Cigs is a great coach. Day is a fricking clown

That was some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen in a long time. I could count on 8 to 9 different occasions where IU was holding the shite out of OSU’s defensive line and yet blatantly got away with no calls. It was pretty bad.

Definitely wouldn’t count OSU out though as they’re still good enough to make a run. Indiana played lights out with everything going in their favor and yet still barely beat OSU by 3 points.

It’s possible… but the refs did not cost OSU THE GSME LAST NIGHT.
