That is what the $$ is there for, to get the best possible. If he has any interest in LSU, make the other schools pay big time to get him, or we get him.

I think you have to look in the portal for proven, mature D linemen before you over invest in high school guys you hope develop at some point. Lets not get emotionally over invested in a few of these guys. I want the Louisiana guys but outside of that Im fine either way.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. But there is just something about Geralds that tells me he’d be worth the money. Dude is an absolute monster. Have no earthy idea how that beast is not a 5 star

Deuce is the best defensive lineman in this class. We need to do whatever is necessary to sign this guy. Him and Big Rich next to each other would be absolutely disgusting.

I dont either. Im guessing his height because its definitely not because of his play. I feel like shorter, squattier defensive tackles actually have an advantage.

We all agree on the proven players thru the portal but this D line class these players are top 1 or 2 at their position. Part of coming to LSU was he didn't have to build extensively thru the portal.

You probably right, I just think we all know we just dropped a metric shite ton and just invested heavily in the DL with the three commits Henderson, Brown, Anderson. I just wouldn't be surprised if we get outbid for him n he is the odd man out.
