Who will round out the 2026 football schedule?

Just noticed we only have 11 games scheduled so far. With Clemson on the schedule already, I'd have to think it's another rent a win.

Going to throw an away game to Ole Miss as OOC on there just so Kiffin can kick their teeth in twice.

Likely will be Louisiana Tech. Heard Moscona mention that on his morning show one day last week.

I think I remember hearing/reading something about us adding a team that would enact the weird “13th game if an opponent plays Hawaii” rule and then having a week 0 game before Clemson.

I think they said the two non P5 games will always be instate schools going forward

The rule is that if your team, or one of your opponents, is playing in Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally, you (or the opponent) can schedule a 13th game in "week 0" to recoup costs associated with the travel.
Hawaii has 4 teams scheduled for out of conference - Stanford, New Mexico State, UMass, and Arizona State.
Since we are already scheduled for a home and home with ASU in 2029-2030, that's likely off the table. I can't imagine adding another P4 school anyway, so that likely removes Stanford as well.
UMass has 4 OOC games set, and so does NM State.
I looked at Mountain West teams and don't see anyone with an OOC opening. In short, I really can't imagine at this point in time adding not one but two more OOC opponents next year just to have time to prepare for a home game against a mediocre Clemson team.
