Why the hate for LK but love for Sumrall?

Is it because Tulane is allowing him to coach them even after taking the Florida job? They are a CFB playoff team as of now. He dipped out at the same time instead of sticking out for a truly historic moment if Tulane can upset whoever they play round 1

It's LSU baby, they hated the BK hiring and firing. Embrace the villain role.

The only reason Sumrall and Morris aren’t getting hate is because P4 programs don’t see G5s as a threat and the G5s know they have no bargaining position to make demands.
If these were two P4 coaches facing off for a playoff spot and took jobs at other P4 schools, especially in the same conference, they likely would have been forced out like Lane was.

The people spouting this double think don't even know why... they're just reacting like an animal would

A schoool has to embrace it when they are a stepping stone program.
Sumrall has put in the ground work and unlike in the past, young, upcoming coaches will want to come to Tulane. How Tulane handles this will make allot of difference in the coaches that will interview. It also affects their recruiting, because they can sell that even if the current coach leaves, they will have a good coach replacing him.

I don’t really give much of a shite about what anyone in the media says about LSU.

Unfortunately for Tulane, they will always be a stepping stone...
Any successful coach will move to a bigger program.

I read some quotes from Tulane's AD earlier today basically saying this. It was a different situation.
Interestingly, the Tulane AD is a former Ole Miss football player who is from BR.
