The hiring of Lane Kiffin was a masterclass in stealth, and all the moving parts working together seamlessly. If any part of the plan had failed the end result could have been very different.
I raise a glass to the known and unknown members of “Operation Lane” who brought our coach to Baton Rouge.

The bananas part of it is - they used Saban, as both early smoke AND a guiding hand, and then went dark. They let Florida set the pace. The only things that leaked were contract details after it was already done.
Ole Miss leaked the fam visits to BR and Gainesville.

It actually wasn't in silence. It's just that Gaytors and Reb fans refused to acknowledge it. Everything pretty much happened as outlined.
