How likely is it that Chambliss is granted another year?

Would be an instant game changer.

Our SOS is brutal next year just like this year. We played 5 CFP teams this year, no other team played 5 CFP teams this year. Ohio State played 0. Meaning literally #1 ranked SOS. Next year sucks too. 2027 lets up a lot. Doesn’t surprise me at all SEC gave LSU first year likely the #1 ranked SOS in college football. Without even looking, I’d bet $500 our SOS is harder than Texas or Missouri or Ole Miss as well. They seem to scoot through playing 1, 2, or at most 3 CFP teams.

Maybe or maybe Lane thinks he can do better. We’ll see after the playoffs I guess

We need a kid who will be here for the next two years at least in order to have him primed in year 2 when we are penciled into the NC in New Orleans. I love Pop Houston from the e, but not confident enough for him to lead us to the dome as a true freshman. But, hey, I'm no lane Kiffin. He'll have a QB or 3.

If Heupel goes to Penn State, LSU will play 5 first year coaches on the road.

Could be worse.
