I disagree with him about this the same way I actually disagree with posters here about Drink. Ole Miss and Missouri are not resource rich programs. What both coaches have done is very impressive and people act like if a coach hasn't won a NC at one of those places that they suck.

Not saying Drink and Kiffin are even remotely comparable, but there is some entitlement that comes through it a bunch of peoples' opinions.

I heard him say he dod not say this. Tonight on his show. I pretty sure this is what he was talking about. I did not understand until I saw this after his show.

He 100% wanted Dan Lanning. That was his top pick. However, are we sure Lanning is a championship coach? Man has top 3 talent in the country and still hasn't made it past the first round of a playoff game.

I don’t doubt that he still has something to prove. I’m just wondering if he still believes that Kiffin isn’t a championship caliber coach. Because if that’s the case, he should hate the hire. I also wonder if he still believes that Brian Kelly is a better coach than Kiffin.
