What are our odds for keeping Baker

It’s us or HC at Tulane.

Baker has told people he’s been in contact with Lane about staying. He’s not interested in the Tulane job.

Lotta talk about him taking the Tulane job, but not much talk about him maybe wanting his jump to be to a bigger program, which he will be able to do after another year, especially under Lane if next season is as expected.

Wasn’t it one of the first things that Verge and committee mentioned in the beginning was there was a high priority for retaining Blake Baker? I think they will do whatever they can to keep him here. Probably nothing they can do if he wants to be a head coach badly enough. But hopefully that is not the case and we keep him for a couple years with Lane!
