Don’t shoot the messenger but USF & Tulane are coming calling regardless if we like it or not. I think he takes that next step…he’s earned it at least at one of those types of schools. Thoughts on who would take his place? Good candidates?

Good for baker.
Id rather him leave on his own accord than be caught up in the lane shuffle and fired.
Need him happy with LSU for down the road.

My Tulane contacts told me a week ago that he was likely to be their next coach.

There's alot of movement. There are going to be alot of coordinators and assistant coaches moving around. Could be Golding unless he gets the OM job.

He loves LSU. He has been a great DC for us. I hope he gets the Tulane job. I think he is going to be an excellent HC. Top 25 in total D and #15 in scoring D this year. Think about where we were when he took over. Climbed basically 100 spots in 2 years.

I’m thankful for Baker.
He righted the defensive ship here.
I hope he gets Tulane if he wants it and becomes a good coach.
Maybe down the line if Kiffin leaves we can consider him for HC.
