Would you be ok with spending a late draft choice in Round 6 or 7 on Diego Pavia?

I figure it wouldn’t hurt with one of our late with one of our late throwaway picks. Who knows, maybe he would be a lucky diamond in the rough.

His mother & brother wouldn’t last a week in New Orleans.

6th or 7th would be a fair gamble but IMO the browns are spending a 4th or 5th on him

Don't the saints have 2 6th round picks?

I'd grab him to be Taysom replacement if KM wanted to continue having that type of player. I don't know that he does though

Are we gambling on him being the franchise qb? Isn't that supposed to be Shough?

He is not as fast and 30 lbs lighter. Has anyone that thinks this looked at those two people? All the TE and punt coverage stuff That Taysom brings goes out the window and at that point just draft a RB to replace Taysom.

So his mom could get fricked by half the team and create internal drama?

Pass.

Nope. We have too many needs. I’d rather take a developmental CB we could put on the practice squad who can be a backup or special teams contributor.

ETA: If there are any good kickers in the draft, I’d spend a pick on a top notch kicker.

You don't spend a late rounder on name only. Can he play better than what you have?
Then grab him.

no... we have to stop wasting draft picks on rookie project QBs.... we have way too many needs to try that shite AGAIN...

Garrett Greyson, Ian Book, Spencer Rattler, Jake Haener, Tommy Stevens... all late round wasted picks...

I think him and his family would get along well and not in a good way.

You never know what are you going to find, I’ll bet all day on an intense player that we know is competitive and is going to give you effort

For special teams, sure. Plenty great college qbs try real hard and fail in the NFL. You think Tebow wasn't trying?
