Austin Thomas, Frank Wilson and Cody Raymond make it possible

for Lane Kiffin to coach OM in playoffs and take LSU job now.
AT is a skilled GM and can handle roster, portal and NIL details.
FW can handle day to day recruiting (as he has). Recruits will know that Lane will be the coach. Lane will have a blue phone for playoff duties and a gold phone for Tiger calls. He wants to win for OM now and LSU in 2026 and beyond. OM can hire the new guy to worry about 2026 and beyond without worrying about playoffs.
CR gives you continuity on defense and DBU cred, FW continuity on offense and Louisiana cred .
Lane has been shopping portal for OM already, recruiting already so he is just changing hats.
Lane winning a natty at OM with an LSU contract is still good for LSU (and OM)
If Lane chooses to keep Baker, we save buyout $, and defensive evaluation and acquisitions won’t skip a beat.

It’s a 45 minute flight. Fly him in for tomorrow and Monday, then 45 minutes back to Oxford to gear up his team for the playoffs.
