I’ve watched LSU Football for 40 years and that was easily the most disappointing of all.

We lost consecutively to the biggest punchlines in football, vandy and A&M.

1998 was pretty bad. The last season with O was pretty bad. In the last 30 years, this season is easily top 3 most frustrating.

To add it’s also possibly the worst combo season of the Saints and LSU being terrible at the same time over the last 40 as well.

Mike Archer's 3rd year (1989) was the biggest disappointment for me. We were coming off an 8-4 season with a senior QB (Hodson) and lots of returning talent (Kevin Mawae, Todd Kinchen, Harvey Williams)....and then LSU goes 4-7.
Despite the disappointment this year, we still had a winning season and will go to a bowl game. It could be much, much worse.

I've watched since 1966. This team is forgettable. Excruciating to watch. Glad it's over. Wish there was no bowl game in sight.

1998 was tough with expectations for me especially with Faulk and Tyler
