When does Prime Rib / Rib Roasts normally go on sale?

Got one at Kroger on sale last week. Don't see them listed in this week's sale paper.
They're usually easy to find between now and New Years. But with the current price of beef, even the sale prices will likely be painful.

Super 1 just had them for $6.97/lb but they were Select.

Publix had them on sale here for 10.99/lb last week. Ha, no. I think it'll get a couple bucks cheaper in 3-4 weeks as it is usually for the Christmas sale.
