Is this “decision” just prescribed drama for TV (ESPN, ABC, SEC)?

It seems so. I don’t look forward to the sport I love rapidly becoming reality drama TV. Is ESPN invoking their own NBA doctrine for use with the SEC? Do we get more forced fraudulent stories to get eyeballs on screens?

It’s a drama but not by choice for Lane. He’s making a decision and the media leeches are just doing what leeches do.

Or...

The guy actually has enjoyed his time at Ole Miss and wants to go out the "right" way.

So, instead of announcing while in his Ole Miss clothes 10-minutes after a game, maybe he wants to let the team/fans have the day and then announce when everything isn't quite as raw. I mean, he just invited an Ole Miss reporter into the locker room for a fight...so maybe the headspace isn't just quite right.

All of y'all just need to chill...

I think Kiffin has handled this whole thing with a lot of class especially after watching the postgame interview today.
