Current roster challenges for any new HC at LSU

Tall order for any new HC.
The "Goal Post" at LSU are set! The expectations are championships and championship type play on the field!
Understanding the expectations, the task seems almost insurmountable. LSU currently is soft and thin, their not an SEC caliber team according to a standard they set for themselves. "Goal Post!" Honestly I'm not sure how many players LSU has, that could secure a starting role at a championship contending program.
Mix in the NIL & the portal that giveth and taketh. LSU brings in championship talent and the current roster hits the portal for playing time at another program. Rinse repeat depth challenges. The o-line alone could need 10 new bodies. Obviously this example is the extreme for the roster. However the principle applies.
LSU needs championship caliber players, depth and the wherewithal to put it together. This is the task at LSU, a daunting challenge to say the least. This is going to be an exciting off-season.
Never move the goal post!

Whit Weeks
Mansoor Delane
AJ Haulcy
Harold Perkins (utilized correctly)
I've shite on Nuss this year, but I think you could throw him on a few CFP teams with weak QBs and the coach would get him to where he needs to be.
This OLine is so so bad.

Really? You’re not sure. I wont list them all but there are plenty. Tredez Green to start on any team. Yes we are soft af but that’s a BK issue

No coach is taking what LSU currently has on roster anywhere special.
LSU in its day would have 4 RB's that could start for any team in the modern playoff now were being generous with 4 mentioned names 2 of which are suspect to have a starting roll at say Bama or Georgia.
LSU needs more than a coach, it needs a new roster to work with to get to the playoffs.

I'm not saying its not a BK issue but it is also the issue for the next HC. This PAC12, ACC, Conference USA roster has to be upgraded immensely & that's a tall order for any new HC!
That being said Tredez is a nice project but he isn't a championship caliber TE at this stage in his career! He's still putting "potential" on film.

Unfortunately none of these guys will be back next year

On a national level with what LSU is doing with cash the school is on course to be a hate target in the college football world - not to mention stealing a playoff coach pre playoffs.
