Watching Kellen Moore in these press conferences makes me think he’s in over his head. I see no confidence in his answers, and he looks visibly uncomfortable with not having answers.

It’s ok if the team is struggling in his first year, it honestly should have been expected but he looks shaken at having to face the firing squad. I had really hoped to see him come out confident with a clear objective moving forward from losses. Regardless of whether he was telling the truth or not. I mean be confident and stand your ground even if you’re wrong.

The old football saying I don’t care if you make a mistake but make giving 100%.

What I see from Moore right not is no confidence in himself. And that is a death knell for a a HC imo. Cause you cannot lead a locker room if you have no confidence in yourself.

Hope I’m wrong but imo concerning.

You can’t make bread rise w no yeast. He knows they gotta get to the store to buy yeast. Until then, we got flat bread.

He's definitely no Jim Mora or Sean Payton when it comes to press conferences. I think he needs a bit more fire in him during the game and in press conferences.

It’s been a long concern with “player” coach types. Quiet leaders. Professional athletes seem to need firey leaders that aren’t afraid to raise their voices and demand the very best. Challenge everyone including themselves.

I’m trying think of a quiet demeanor HC in sports that had much success.

I’m sure there are some but I can’t think of them now.

What do you want him to say? This team sucks? Our online is fricking terrible? I have no talent to work with? He is a professional coach who took on the daunting task of turning a terrible roster around while also learning the ropes. He looks like a coach who is the middle of a long grind.

I don’t disagree but the team seems to at least play very hard for him. A great sign for a young guy.

IMO.. You need the full spectrum of emotive leaders in a team environment... As the head coach, you need to be self aware enough to recognize your strengths and stay in your lane... while at the same time surrounding yourself with staff that complements and supplements your strengths in such a way to bring the right balance throughout the leadership of the staff...

The fact he may be a quiet and even inexperienced leader can and should be balanced out and mitigated with the staff around him...

Question is does Loomis know this??

You're missing the whole point.

It's not about what he's saying it's about how he is coming across and the confidence level he is emitting or lack there of. He look like a guy that has no answers, and he knows the whole world can see it.. He looks extremely uncomfortable and really not in control.

I am not making any final judgements of him because has a young coach in his first year and I hope he gets better but his press conferences are tough to watch right now.

Moore's body language on the sideline during the game says hopeless and confused.

I think he is the same as he was on Phillys sideline.

This is his first season as a head coach of a lousy team; give him a break.

Well he can’t come out and say “This roster sucks, our organization is trash and I’m way in over my head”
