First time trip to Norman/OKC and was just curious and looking for some input on stuff to do and see while in town till Sunday? Any LSU related stuff happening this weekend leading up to the game?

All input is welcome, thanks and Geaux Tigers!

Don't know about Norman but try Brick Town in OKC. I enjoy Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse. Go to the bar at The National Hotel. It is an old bank building, and the bar is in the old vault. You could go to the National Memorial honoring the bombing victims.

Flying or driving?

Go catch some bass on the blue river

Easy to wade and got some nice fish and nice scenery.

Man, I'm from the eastern side of the state, so don't really know, but I heard Cattlemen's Steakhouse is good. There's also a hole-in-the wall chicken restaurant outside of town that's good. Save travels and hope you enjoy your trip.

We are staying at the Omni OKC. I guess get a steak Friday night. There is a little live music happening it looks like.
A friend that has some history said this is where to go gameday - oucampuscorner.com - a strip of restaurants and bars just off campus.
