I mean, there’s literally thousands. A little more context of what you are looking for would help

Lived in Dallas area for 20+ years.

My personal top 3:

1. Lover's Seafood. Owned by Kent Rathburn's wife. Always get the New Orleans BBQ + grits setup with fresh giant sea scallops. Top notch bar. Raw seafood selection is great.

2. Bob's Steak & Chop. The original location downtown (the one in Plano is just as good). Asked my wife to marry me in this place 18 years ago. So im kinda biased on this one.

3. S&D Oyster House. More seafood, but a little more approachable. New Orleans Shrimp BBQ is great. Side note: Luke & Owen Wilson used to wait tables here back before they got into movies.

Steak: Nick & Sam’s(the ultimate Dallas “experience”), Nuri(very nice),Bob’s, Al Biernet’s(more laid back but upscale)

Mexican-Javier’s(upscale)

Tex-Mex-
Mia’s(laid back)
Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village for the people watching & Mambo Taxis(not so much for the food)

Other- Mister Charles, Monarch

Bars- I need to know how old you are & what you are looking for. Too many places to cover here.

Del Frisco's seems to be pretty good, I've been there probably a dozen times, always packed, always reservations, food is always great...

If you like loud and dark and watching 60 year old men get sugar daddied

Overpriced white people “Mexican” food. I’d never recommend this

Mister Charles

Very cool atmosphere, but food is a little overpriced in my opinion.

Perry’s has a great view from the upstairs room for dinner, but it’s not the best steakhouse in the city.

Burger Schmurger for a smash burger

Crush craft for quick service food

Terry blacks or pecan lodge for bbq

Sister for tapas

Anchor or oishii for sushi

HG supply for a drink and view of the skyline, truckyard during the day, Happiest Hour near AAC if you are down that way

That should be a good start
