Re-watched Saints-Vikings NFC Championship game

Forgot how much the Vikings fumbled - 4 times. And then of course the too many men in the huddle penalty that made a 51 yarder into a 56 yarder to win. Favre feels like he needs more yards and throws a pick lol. Also they had a timeout, so not they could've just kept it on the ground as well. Then in OT Colston tipped a ball up and it literally went right through the safeties hands, would've given the Vikings the ball at their own 40 only needing a FG. So many ways we could have lost that game, absolutely insane.

Too bad the Vikings found more ways to lose it
AD’s multiple fumbles and Tracy Porter studied film like it was life or death
The NFL was so torn on who they wanted to win this game. The Saints were a great story and Favre was a great story. Luckily. We made less mistakes and more plays on defense.

They gave that shite away instead of blaming bounty they need to blame dumbass Farve. That interception should be seen as the dumbest play in NFL history I’m dead serious.

There was local camera footage of multiple late hits on Drew Brees that were never shown during the broadcast.
No replays of Brees in the pocket and getting hit hard.
However, the network showed Favre getting brutalized by the Saints defense.
The NFL and the network were complicit in establishing that the Saints were a dirty team.

The Vikings were the best team in the NFL that year. They just could not prove it that day.

It is clearly one of the dumbest plays ever…but the Seahawks Carroll/Wilson throwing the ball in the Super Bowl … on purpose….vs the Patriots instead of simply handing it to Beast Mode is worse.

Dont forget Thomas on 4th down getting across the line only to have the ball pushed backwards while in the air. That call could have easily gone against the Saints.

Hammered Favre so much and roughing the passer penalty was not called back then, apparently.
