1. What would a coach like Nifty Kiffy want more?

2. Which one would be the most realistic to get? I’m assuming the Natty for a guy like Kiffy.

3. If Natty, what would be the most realistic college to get it at, LSU, Old Miss, or Florida? I’m assuming LSU since three different coaches over a span of 16 years. Tells me the talent is superior in Louisiana.

Lane is going to get paid and paid well anywhere he goes. If one school or NFL team can pay a million or two more or less, a guy like Kiffy might not care. He’s going to make way more than the contract when you consider endorsements and such.

So it has to be more about the championship (CFB or NFL) than the money right?

Kiffin’s had his run in the NFL. When compared to the NFL, it should be clear that he prefers to coach in college.

As for his motivating factors, I think younger Lane wanted to be noticed and appreciated. He wanted the attention. Older Lane seems to be a little more goal oriented and more focused on self improvement. He’s getting to the age where people start coming to grips with mortality and start thinking about the kind of legacy they can leave behind.

I think he knows he wants to be in college, and I think a chance at multiple championships is his goal. Money doesn’t matter all that much, so he lets Jimmy handle that piece.
