NEW: Western Carolina QB Taron Dickens plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, @PeteNakos reports.

Dickens passed for 3,508 yards, 38 touchdowns and 2 interceptions this season.

Those some ridiculous stats.

If MVB leaves we'll take him as a backup maybe. LSU will need at least 2 QBs in portal so they're going to have to look at the lower ranks for backups because no P5 QB is coming to be a backup.

I'm not giving up on MVB. I think Kiffin could work magic on him. He has some nice potential. I watched him last year at Miss State as a freshman and he showed flashes.

He has no QB/OC/HC right now, and has 1.5 years experience in the SEC. It takes years to develop most QBs in SEC. I'll trust Kiffin on if he wants him or not.

I'm hoping the Mercer qb enters the portal, true freshman has had a stellar season, undefeated in his FCS games he's started (9-0)

At this point - LSU needs to take whoever they can get. They do not have a starting caliber QB.

I’d like to take a backup on a P5 roster who’s aching to get a start

He's my second choice after the Washington Huskies QB.
