Why do we have elite athletes running a high school offensive scheme?

Are they just not executing? We have some exceptional athletes out on the field and the play calling is so vanilla. It doesn’t take much of a defense to keep things in check. We’ve seen it all season long.

We have the worst offensive line of any LSU team I can remember in the last two decades.

These units dont play as a team, cant improvise when plays break down and dont provide much effort beyond intitial contact.
The WRs do nothing to get open if they cant get separation and the Offense live still looks confused at the end of the season.

NO BLOCKING!!!!!
Do y'all not remember why we lost to Troy and had problems that year? Because Miles left us with NO tackles. Advocate had a great in-depth story on how poorly recruited the O-line was.
If you can't block, you can't run, the qb gets pressured every play, and you have to run plays to get the ball out of his hands quickly. yes, a running qb can buy time but the chances for injury to him go up as well.

I think our 6A team has a more functional line

When we sacked last it was a longer developing play for them. The quick hitters were beating us.

Terrible OL and terrible play callers.
You give someone like Lane this OL and he will find a way to score.
But, it is obvious the OL didn't put in the work in the offseason in the weight room and /or technique wise.
