I am going to my blind that I built in a public lake tomorrow. If you knuckleheads beat me there, get out when I ask you to. I plan on leaving at 4am to get there first.

Good luck with that.

ETA: I meant that sincerely, but with a dose of pessimism because I don’t have a lot of hope for courtesy from some of the new “duck hunters” out there.

Also my dad told some guys to get off our lease this morning before daylight. They acted like they were going to comply but continued to hunt and got mouthy when they were ran off the second time. So private isn’t even safe.

Funny. I’m already there.

I like the design.

Don't forget to sink the lead shot when the game wardens show up. They hidden under the bag of weed!

Sheriff was called but they were out of there before they showed up. I believe they got pictures of the boats though.

ETA: Sheriff found them.

In all seriousness, what the rules down there? Can you leave the ramp anytime or is it like AR and there is a set time when you are able to leave?

I’ve seen post on Instagram that there have been trucks with boats lined up at the Bayou Meto ramp since last week.

My routine is 20 pushups and 30 minutes on the speed bag before heading out.

You know it's first come first serve on public..

Do they still require all natural materials?

But for real though- I'm going to take a spin on the west fork tomorrow afternoon at the camp and see if there's any decent spots I can hunt with the kids during the week this week while we are down.

Obviously would move on if we set up on like Tuesday am and somebody claims we are in their honey hole.

Duck Hunters are nuts.

A bunch of my high school friends used to hunt Fesenthal (NWA south Arkansas), they would drink all night, go to sleep at 10-11 pm then get up at 2:30 am so they could make sure they got their hole first.

Never failed that some yahoo or 4 would come idling in on them right at daylight, they would get a big ole pissing match. It was part of it.

Go to sleep at 10/11, rookies. We would stay up all night.
