He is a good offensive coach, but what else?

He coached under Saban. Does he follow The Process? Is he focused on details? The next play?

Recruiting?

Leadership?
I’ve watched him for years like we all have. I wanted him over Brian Kelly 4 years ago and wish we would have hired him. But, now that he seems to be finally coming here, what does he bring to the program strict rurally related to leadership and alignment? Beyond the flash and bravado and offensive play calling?

He brings good play calling. That he does very well. However, he's played a pretty soft schedule. He had 8 players drafted last year, two being first round picks and missed the playoffs.

If he comes to LSU we're gonna have to hope, he can put it all together. He probably laughed at our o line this season. Surely that will be priority #1.

Came up in the ranks under 2 of the best in Carrol and Saban, along with his dad. Has tripped and fell but has been able to pick himself up. As long as he hires a good support staff, he will do amazing things here. Can’t wait for the Lane Train to get started!!

Swagger and a different type of leadership now that players are paid. The old "hard nose disciplinary" act doesn't work when players can and do leave at any moment with no consequences. These kids want to be around a coach that they can relate to, not a dinosaur. Kiffin also brings an element of fun to the game that we've never had other than inspired by fleeting moments like Joe Brady (they cant stop it) and Jayden being who he is.
