What type of "source" would you need to see to begin to believe it? We're about to fricking hang larry birdlegs bc he had half this site thinking 9am mattered at all. I feel like if I got on here and said I heard from Verge himself that no one would believe it.

A pretty simple approach is to take everything on message boards as fodder. Don’t take anything seriously that isn’t directly released from an AD.
