The term 'red pilled' has entered human lexicon now as a commonly used and understood phrase and probably will remain that way for generations to come.
Even people who don't even know the origins of the term still use it and understand it.
There have been tens of thousands of major movies released over the past 100+ years and probably only a few dozen created new terminology so strongly. There was a thread a few months ago where people discussed movies that did this IIRC (the man behind the curtain, etc.)
So yeah, legendary scene.
