I’ve seen some marketing for this lately. It’s a little handheld VG system that supposedly has a ton of games on it (over 18,000 actually, which I’m not sure how). Reviews seem to be mostly good, but it’s always hard to tell if they are legit or not. The main gripe seems to be that every now and then some games glitch a bit, but for the most part it seems to run them smoothly, even older system games. This is what it looks like:

I’m thinking about maybe grabbing one just to have and to possibly let my son play. He’s 6 and has played my physical NES and SNES numerous times. But I think a handheld may be better suited for him to get the hang of video games. Plus I’d play it as well, as collecting VGs and systems are my thing.

Just curious if anybody has any experience with this or anything similar, and if they are shitty products or actually legit good.

I have an Anbernic handheld with an SD card that has somewhere north of 20000 games for it. I love it, works great and I've never had an issue with it.

I have the anerbic rg35xx and while it's awesome, it's terrible for long play sessions (on flights, road trips) since it's so small. I would spend a little more to get something bigger that's more comfortable to hold

I'm pretty sure this is the one I have. At least it looks exactly like this. When I get home later I can check the model number to verify.

Anbernic RG353

When I got mine the games library that came with the system was not super great, but you can find preloaded SD cards on eBay for not too much money. The system battery life is great and it's comfortable in the hand. Audio is really good. I will say the screen is a bit on the small side, but other than that I have no complaints at all.

This was another question I had as well. The description seems to say it comes with all the thousands of games, but I’m not positive.
