The case against Dillingham

Set aside the fact that he’s 21-15 as a HC and rode Skattebo to the playoff last year, let’s look at some numbers.
I’ll excuse 2019 at Aubie with Malzahn calling plays and freshman Bo Nix.. since then however, his offenses have ranked;
FSU
62nd in 2020
80th in 2021
Oregon
8th in 2022* (reunited with Nix)
ASU
111th in 2023
28th in 2024* (Skattebo)
58th so far in 2025
Now for the coup de grâce.. skip forward to 15 minutes in the video and watch what transpires in their biggest game at that point in the season.
Arizona St. vs BYU 2024
Bottom line is the dude is a gimmick coach whose style will not play in the SEC.
I have no idea why so many on this board are high on this cat, but my guess is they’ve never actually watched him coach other than the 4th quarter against Texas last year.

I agree. Dillingham gives me same vibes as Mcmahon in how Mcmahon was carried by Ja Morant so we thought he was a good coach but it was actually just that he had an elite player.
