It's honestly hard to believe that number almost sounds like that's slapped in there to get LSU to commit and ante up to what they said. Nobody - not even the richest colleges commit to that right now. You have a 30 million roster per year promise but they also supposedly told Lane boosters will front even more money if you prove you can win here. So it's like a performance agreement, you do good, boosters have no problem footing a 40 million a year roster for you.

Sounds really sketch that Ole Miss can put 40 million up a year but tbh, they're not really poor. LSU got some deep pocket boosters but it's hard to compete against desperation. I think they keeping him.

Unless that's an effort to force LSU to commit to the 40 million+ promised by LSU through performance.
