No written articles, but I saw this on the 5:00 WBRZ newscast

Central mayor Wade Evans has an access badge to city hall, and a few members of the council, along with a “community activist” that closely resembles Fat Albert, have a problem with it
I’m sure it has nothing to do with race

Is city hall actually the city-parish office?
Still not sure it would actually be needed, but if the parish side wanted the various mayors around the parish to have certain access when meeting there about specific parish business involving their cities it would at least make a little sense. Might depend on level of access granted.

I have no clue as I don’t live there, but it could also be on a project by project basis and as needed which is another reason the level of access should be factored. Full access 24/7 around the year would be very questionable.
People may have forgotten under Broome’s war on StG that being the parish President is half the mayor-president’s duties along with the metro parish council especially the ones elected from outside of BR.
North BR residents probably still think Central and StG broke away and took BR’s money.
Outside of the level of access this would be much stranger if this was a city only office.
