Shot in the dark here - but does anyone live in the Panama City Beach area and have a good source for beef?

Just moved from Texas, where HEB and Costco are plenty. Sam's and Publix's offerings here do not look good. It is rough living out here.

Briskets, prime rib, filets, etc. Is it just best to find a good source and get half a cow to freeze?

There's a Win Dixie there.. Is the meat that terrible or did you try it out?

Publix has choice grade meat that’s as good or better than Costco here. Publix just doesn’t carry Prime Beef.

Their regular beef is choice grade and the Greenwise beef is Organic Choice grade.

My local,Costco has cut the amount of Prime Beef they sell because it’s higher than giraffe pussy right now.

Don’t live in PCB, but find it odd Publix sucks there since it’s a Florida chain.

Publix beef and meat in general is extremely expensive and not very good. I never buy meat from Publix. I much prefer Winn Dixie meat.

For someone moving from Texas, we never have Brisket at decent prices in Florida. Ever. Like $5.99 was a great price 2 years ago before meat soared.

Winn Dixie also has great meat specials, well they did before the crazy inflation recently. I’ve gotten choice whole tenderloin for $7.99/ lb within the past year on sale.

There are a decently amount of whole cow farms around OP.

There is a local farmer that sells beef at the farmer's market on Harrison Ave every saturday. It's good

Hunt and Gather is on your side of the bridge, I think they have a butcher shop but not positive. Tarpon Dock seafood also sells local beef

We went there for dinner once. Apps were good, but the entrees were a HUGE miss.
